How to install Eurosport Player in Kodi Latest Version

We are also soccer fans. Therefore we publish the first time a guide, of which we know already at the publication that it does not work satisfactorily. The limitation is that the stream breaks off exactly after an hour (the developers are off, however, it is the same in Google Chrome) and the used Media Center software Kodi must be restarted completely. So you should end up completely in the half-time Kodi and then restart it again. In addition, we have despite 100MBit Internet connection often with ruckers to fight - that was with the Sideload installed Android app from the Eurosport Player not the case. The whole thing works, of course, only if Eurosport has the problems of the last Friday game 1.FC Cologne against Hamburger SV got under control and all Eurosport Player subscribers can also enjoy the live stream. Most of the players could see the Eurosport Player live stream from the second half of the season. All others have received various error messages.

But what worked great during the whole game was the Amazon Channel of the Eurosport Player. This can be tested for 7 days free of charge and this evening in an emergency, so look at the Bundesliga game. And Amazon channels are super integrated into the Fire TV interface. Requirements:

  • Kodi 17.4 - Installation instructions can be found here: Instructions: Install Kodi on Fire TV Stick 2 and all other Fire TVs (without PC)

  • Kodi standard skin (if you use another, you have to search the way through the menus)

  • a valid Eurosport Player subscription
