A month ago, a device with the Chiron codename was spotted in the Beijing Subway database. Many say that the smartphone is Mi MIX 2. But after Mi MIX 2 has been released, Xiaomi Chiron was re-emerged, this time in GFXBench. As reported by Gizmochina, Xiaomi Chiron has a 5.6 inch Full HD screen. The kitchen is powered by a 2.4 GHz octa-core processor. The GPU used is Adreno 540 which means the chipset embedded in it is Snapdragon 835. Xiaomi Chiron packs 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. This smartphone is armed with a 12 MP camera main camera capable of recording 4K video and selfie camera with 5 MP resolution. Chiron also has NFC support. Xiaomi itself has not released Mi MIX 2 with 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB ROM. The assumption that emerged later that this smartphone will be one of the variants Mi MIX 2. But the assumption is immediately refuted by seeing a 5.6-inch landscape that is smaller than the screen Mi MIX 2. The latest allegations refer to Mi Note 3 Pro. If we look again to the back, Mi Note first generation comes with two variants, namely Snapdragon 801 and Snapdragon 810 variants for Pro variants. In Mi Note 2, the tradition does not apply. But that does not mean Xiaomi is not possible to repeat the tradition on Mi Note 3. So there is a possibility Xiaomi will release Mi Note 3 in two variants. The first variant brings Snapdragon 660 chipset recently released and the second variant equipped Snapdragon 835 as Mi Note 3 Pro which will soon be released. The final assumption, if the device is not as Mi Note 3 Pro, then it may be released as Mi 6 Plus.
